FunMats Terms and Conditions
Terms and Conditions of Business August 2016
This issue of our terms and conditions supersedes all previous issues and applies to all FunMats orders placed with UK Made Products Ltd. A signed FunMats Booking Form submitted to UK Made Products Ltd. constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.
Definitions of terms used in these terms and conditions
“FunMats”, “We”, “Our” – All refer to the FunMats operating division of UK Made Products Ltd
“Customer”, “You”, “Your” – All refer to an organisation undertaking a FunMats project
FunMats Information Pack
If there is any difference between these terms and conditions and any term or condition within the current FunMats information pack, the latter shall prevail.
Booking Form
A signed booking form is a commitment to undertake the FunMats project specified on the form. If the booking is cancelled or the project changed, we reserve the right to charge any costs that we have incurred up to the time of cancellation or change.
Full Cancellation
Once a booking form has been received, an order may only be cancelled by agreement and the payment of all costs incurred to date plus an administration fee of £50.
Part Cancellation
Once a booking form has been received, an order may be reduced from a FunMats Sample project to a FunMats project by agreement and the payment of all costs incurred by us in making the change.
Payment
Except as detailed in “Deferred Payment” below all orders must be fully paid for when artwork is sent for processing, unless prior agreement has been reached in respect of a local authority paying and the arrangement confirmed in a purchase order.
Payment must be made by the organiser, with one cheque made payable to FunMats. Individual cheques from parents for their own individual orders are not acceptable.
Deferred Payment
Payment for the first stage of a FunMats Sample project may be deferred and paid with the second stage payment. Payment for the first stage may be deferred for a maximum of 60 days. If the second stage has not been implemented within this time, the payment for the first stage falls due. We reserve the right to charge interest at 4% over Metro Bank base rate on overdue accounts.
Title
The risk in the goods will pass to the customer on delivery but all goods remain our property until fully paid for.
Product Specification
We reserve the right to alter our product specifications without notice.
Prices
We reserve the right to increase prices without notice but will not increase prices once a project has commenced.
V.A.T.
All FunMats prices include V.A.T. where applicable.
Carriage
Goods are supplied carriage free to most mainland UK destinations. A charge may be made for deliveries to off-shore islands and certain northern Scottish postcodes to reflect surcharges made by our carriers. All deliveries to destinations outside the UK will be charged at cost.
Delivery
Every attempt will be made to deliver on or before an agreed date. We cannot be held responsible and no liability is accepted for any loss caused by goods being delivered late.
Errors and Discrepancies That are Our Fault
Claims for shortage, incorrect products or damage must be made by email within five working days of the delivery of your order. All such errors and discrepancies will be corrected at no cost and the replacement product will take priority in our production schedule.
Errors and Discrepancies That are Not Our Fault
Orders that you placed incorrectly resulting in wrong quantities or wrong products should be notified to us as soon as possible by email. Any replacement or additional product will be supplied at FunMats prices if we are notified within fourteen days of the delivery of your order. Replacement or additional product requested after fourteen days will be charged at UK Made Products retail mail order prices and will not necessarily take priority in our production schedule.
Supplementary Orders
Additional products ordered after the FunMats project order has been completed will be charged at UK Made Products retail mail order prices not the discounted FunMats project prices.
Artwork
We will only accept artwork on an art booklet provided by us.
Image Reproduction
We take no responsibility for parts of images or text that are lost as a result of being too close to the edge of artwork or for any other poor artwork reproduction caused by not following the drawing guidelines in the FunMats information pack. Replacement products, if requested, will be charged in the same way as other errors and discrepancies that are not our fault.
Copy & Copyright
Offensive, improper or undesirable images or texts will not be reproduced nor will we reproduce images or text if we believe that we would be breaching copyright by doing so.
Labelling
Products will be labelled on the back identifying us as the manufacturer.
Sale or Return
Unless specifically agreed otherwise all orders are supplied on firm sale.
Marketing
We reserve the right to reproduce further copies of your images for marketing purposes. We guarantee not to sell any product produced from such reproductions to any other party. If, for any reason, you do not wish us to use your images for marketing purposes you must advise us.
